Our Staff
Winter Clark
Program Director
(607) 873-9220 ext.4

Winter first worked for the Binghamton Regional Sustainability Coalition (Be Local Broome's parent nonprofit) as an energy corps intern.  Having graduated summa cum laude from Binghamton University in 2018, Winter was a double major in philosophy and political sociology, a self-designed major that focuses on interdisciplinary, action-based research in the social sciences. Winter was thrilled at the opportunity to start a local business alliance as Be Local Broome's program director. Winter's past nonprofit work includes founding a music lessons program that continues to serve hundreds of students in grades K-6, interning with Environment Florida, and leading the Binghamton chapter of Democracy Matters. In their free time, Winter enjoys cooking and playing the piano.

Ryan Martin
Program Development Intern

Ryan is a graduating senior at Binghamton University studying English, Political Science, and Chinese. Ryan began his career in public service soon after beginning college through interning with Broome-Tioga Workforce where he worked to assist and support job seekers and displaced workers locally. Ryan has since gone on to work in both U.S. Senate, the House of Representatives, and the Department of State. Through all his work, however, Ryan has tried to ensure that local needs are consistently being met and that the voice of the people is always at the forefront of change. Ryan is excited to be working with Be Local Broome this semester and thrilled to be able to put his skills to use to support his community. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys watching Chopped, traveling, and impatiently awaiting the next Marvel™ movie.
